Project 249

The house is located in a golf estate with a bushveld context and a highveld climate. The owner required a house that could accommodate outside living and entertainment with a clearly defined living area while at the same time have private and intimate bedrooms.

The views are to the east of the property with living areas positioned to live out towards the east while giving the maximum garden space and outside entertainment space. The roof was designed to create double volumes with clerestory windows that face north allowing natural sunlight into the house.
