Project 52

Located in a golf estate with views over the 18th hole the client’s brief was to design a house that will be able to accommodate the basic requirements of family living and entertainment of family and small groups.

Our aim for the design solution was to utilize the site to its full extent. The house was positioned in such a way to create a large lawned area while the house can be opened up and used from one side of the property to other.

The covered patio is the primary link between inside and outside and plays a major role in tying all the external entertainment areas together. The diagonal construction of the patio is further accentuated by staggered feature walls. Each living area is linked to the covered patio via large sliding doors and doors facing the golf course.

All the living areas have been designed to be interlinked while each living room can be used as a separate and distinct space on its own, this to accommodate the variety of groups that may be entertained or hosted.
